2.2 Prohibited Activities
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Attempting to manipulate or interfere with voting processes
- Creating multiple accounts or impersonating others
- Sharing false or misleading information
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations
- Engaging in harassment, discrimination, or hate speech
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to system resources
3Membership Obligations
3.1 Eligibility Requirements
To become a member of CCGM and use the voting platform, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Be of Cameroonian heritage or have a genuine connection to the Cameroonian community
- Be at least 18 years of age for voting privileges
- Provide accurate and verifiable personal information
- Commit to upholding community values and principles
3.2 Member Responsibilities
As a CCGM member, you are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Keeping your contact information and profile updated
- Participating constructively in community activities
- Respecting the rights and dignity of other members
- Following all community guidelines and policies
4Voting System
Election Integrity: Our voting system employs bank-level security and encryption to ensure fair, transparent, and verifiable elections.
4.1 Voting Rights and Procedures
Eligible members have the right to participate in CCGM elections and decision-making processes:
- One vote per eligible member per election
- Secret ballot protection and vote anonymity
- Access to candidate information and platforms
- Right to contest election results through proper channels
4.2 Election Security
CCGM employs comprehensive security measures to protect election integrity, including end-to-end encryption, multi-factor authentication, and complete audit trails. Any attempt to compromise election security will result in immediate account suspension and may be reported to relevant authorities.
5Content Guidelines
5.1 Acceptable Content
Content shared on the CCGM platform should be:
- Respectful and constructive in nature
- Relevant to community interests and activities
- Accurate and truthful to the best of your knowledge
- In compliance with copyright and intellectual property laws
5.2 Prohibited Content
The following types of content are strictly prohibited:
- Hate speech, discrimination, or harassment based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or other protected characteristics
- False or misleading information, especially regarding elections or community matters
- Content that violates privacy or confidentiality
- Spam, commercial solicitation, or irrelevant promotional material
- Illegal content or content promoting illegal activities
6Privacy & Security
Your privacy and the security of your personal information are paramount to CCGM. Our comprehensive Privacy Policy details how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using our platform, you acknowledge and accept our privacy practices as described in our Privacy Policy.
7Dispute Resolution
CCGM is committed to resolving disputes fairly and efficiently. We encourage members to first attempt resolution through direct communication. If that is unsuccessful, disputes may be escalated through our formal grievance process, which includes mediation and, if necessary, arbitration according to UK law.
8Limitation of Liability
CCGM provides its platform and services "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CCGM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.
9Account Termination
CCGM reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in activities harmful to the community. Members may also terminate their accounts at any time by contacting our support team.
10Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11Changes to Terms
CCGM may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify members of significant changes via email and platform notifications. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
